Film Twitter’s Top 100 Films

The Sight & Sound 2022 top 100 list was released and sparked a wave of debate and curiosity on Twitter. The excitement from this list and the discussions it started birthed the idea of a #FilmTwitter top 100 list. I wanted the opportunity to have my voice heard and knew that many other film fanatics would feel the same way.

So, I asked #FilmTwitter to give me their Top 10 films, and we received 125 submissions. From these submissions, over 450 films were in with a chance of making the Top 100. I created this list on a points-based system. The higher the film’s ranking, the higher the number of points it achieved. #1 got 10 points and #10 got 1 point.
